New to geese, how to care for broody goose - need help please

I took the last eggs. They weren't viable with the exception of a few that looked a very long ways to go. That would be too hard on her. They are now sharing the baby and doing well:)
Yes to the mess of raccoons and coys! There are actually coywolves all around here. We were watching for them daytime......one came over the fence, grabbed a silkie, flew back over. The other one came within 20 foot of my husband and I to get a chicken......I was yelling at it and waving my arms. They are not shy! I had to look up coywolves due to the muscular build etc. The coons have only struck daytime once. That was the one that did so much damage.
The geese are going to learn to go into the shop at night this year......somehow ROFL! For now they are still by the house with a 6ft fence at night.

They do herd well so hopefully you can get them to go into safety.

That is so precious watching them care for a gosling isn't it.
Boy that is a scary thing them being so brave as to come so close with humans right there.

4 grown, 3 teens and one little one LOL. I made a mud hole for them this morning. The heat has been bad. They have large swimming pools (2) and 2 small ones..but the little one can't get in and Lil Bit struggles too. Can't wait for the fence to be finally over. For now they have app 1/3 of an acre to graze. They'll have over 2 acres when all is said and done. I'm researching what it would take to put a pond in......it may be a stock tank instead.

Yep, I'm thankful for my geese! They've kept me busy while going thru the physical therapy ordeal. I imagine the neighbors think I'm crazy ......they would be correct ha!

No better way to be crazy though right. Hope the physical therapy is working..

That is a beautiful flock :love I never get many alerts for threads I am watching :(

Hi! Yes, the PT is doing great! It sure takes time to drive in tho and the fence is still going up. I understand on the notifications.
It's funny watching that baby with 2 mommas and Homer finally being a good daddy.
I've had company quite a bit with two very polite young men helping my hubby on the fence. Jut the usual crazy busy this time of year with such a short warm season.
Omgosh the Turdles look ridiculous........the molted. I wonder if they know how silly they look flapping bald wings lol.
Hugs!!!
