New to geese, question about feed

They are absolutely like goats! I catch them taste testing and chewing on all sorts of craziness. They also like to leave rocks in the bottom of the water bucket for me. I find new "treasures" in the buckets every day

Yes! This! What is the deal with the rocks!!??!
Mine pick up big chunks of gravel in the driveway, they’ll nibble on them and carry them around for awhile till they find something else cool to carry around

I love it when Missy stands and gathers things around her feet like twigs and small rocks or leaves. I have even seen Sam do it but not as often. And I find rocks and sticks in the water buckets too. They are so funny with their little quirks . Mine are also stingy they will stand in the evenings and hog the big feed pan I have poured the left over feed in so everyone can have a bite before bed. Not necessarily eating just standing close and intimidatingly anyone that tries to get something to eat. Eventually I walk behind them and put them to bed. Brats!

They are spoiled rotten brats! Chance has claimed the pool as his lately, period. He isn't letting anyone in!
And I have no idea what it is with the surprises in the water...kind of like, this water looks too clean let's muck it up! Or Mama I left you this beautiful treasure, don't you like it??
Over the summer BB would do the gathering bit, into the pool with her. There would be sticks and rocks and whatever else she could haul over for bath time

How funny, mine don't add anything to their water, other than dirt and poop. They do love to dig up roots and stuff when I'm emptying their pool. But usually they pick the leaves and sticks out of the water until there's too many and then they just won't bathe until I clean the pool out. Golly was so excited this weekend he kept flipping over, belly up and feet flapping out of the water before he'd zoom around the pool, launch out screaming and flapping, race around the pen, and dive back in. Georgia was not impressed.
