New to goose egg incubation

Yeah. Be patient, but I've found that goose eggs can be tricky. Hopefully you have a good hatch!

With the help of this site, I got my one goose egg to an external pip this weekend, but because it never loss the required weight during incubation, it did not live to hatch. Was sad.

I have 2 more goose eggs and 2 duck eggs that should go into lockdown on Saturday. I am awaiting my replacement gosling from Metzers with a buddy duck in the mail next week and hopefully I planned the hatch and shipment arrival correctly.

I've had great luck hatching runner duck eggs. Simple and reliable. Here's the bunch that are five days old...

Couldn’t stand it I popped the lid open and gave a quick look I could see life in both eggs still. Humidity never waivered much pretty much staying at 70 for now. Happy to see them both poking at the membrane inside.
