New to goslings and chicken

Are your chickens laying yet? The nesting boxes should be put up off the ground, it helps them feel safer and more comfortable, and they should be enclosed if possible, if your chickens aren't laying in their boxes (or in the future when they do start laying) those are probably the reasons. If they are only laying in only the top boxes its probably because they want to be higher off the ground, if they are laying in the bottom boxes its because they are more enclosed

They haven't started laying yet, but thank you so much for the tips! I love all the advice I am getting on BYC!

That is ladder is very steep.
I would install horizontal perches at least 1' from the walls and about 30" off the ground. Heavier body birds may need a ramp to access that height.
A quick look at the pictures of your coop make me wonder about your ventilation. I don't really see any and that is a good sized flock. You might want to consider adding (a lot) of ventilation. Or maybe it's there and I just can't see it.
I didnt photograph our ventilation, both full size doors on the East and Westside of the coop have ventilation from top to bottom and the west door is left open so they are able to graze and wander if when we aren't home. We only let them free range when we are home as there are a few people around us that allow their dogs to wander and we don't want any incidents. I will have my husband do some adding of the perches and hopefully that will please them! Thank you so much!
