Have had Chickens over 25 years.
about 30 right now. barred rocks and buffs. new chicks are Rhode Island Reds (my favorite)

My other hobbies? there is not enough time or space to list them all. LOL

Currently downsizing sold off all farm animals. Goats, Sheep, Alpacas, horse , cow (passed away) and some chickens. Selling the farm in Maine also. still have dogs. No cats (not for me)
Moved part-time to my sons in NC. after the farm sells in Maine I will be getting a new mini farm in NC or Southern VA.
My husband was the caretaker of the larger animals and he is no longer with me. I do not like giving shots. YULK.
I have my 2 Westies that I would give my life up for. They are my best friends.

Have been clearing the back yard here in NC and it keeps me in close contact with my doctor. LOL Poison oak. I am so allergic.

It's nice to have you here! I understand about your Westies...I had one for 14 years and she was the best dog I've ever had (RIP Trixie).
