Welcome to Backyard Chickens! We are glad you joined the flock! BYC is a helpful site providing all of the information you need to know about poultry. There is always space for members on the BYC roost!

I hope you find some helpful answers on raising your meat chickens. I am definitely too squeamish to cull. I just like to practice eviscerating the carcass if they were killed by a predator or sickness to learn more of their internal bodily structure (like removing the breast) in case I ever decided to cull for meat.
