new to hatching and this forum, need advise

I wonder if putting a shallow tray of small rocks or gravel and water might help add humidity to the brooder. Like you'd do for houseplants. Just enough water to keep the rocks wet.

Has their little butts got any better. I have been wracking my brain I dont see what could be causing the pasty butt. It is usually caused by people putting sugar in their water or stress. Shipped chicks get it very frequently. The stress of shipping does it but it usually clears up in a few days if feed right and butts kept clean. Try feeding them a little plain yogurt. It has good bacteria in it and feeding them that may straighten out digestion and calm the stool down. Keep their chick start in there too but offer them a little yogurt a couple times a day. Has anything happened with the ducks yet

oh yes their btts are doing great now! thanks
