New to hatching chicks, plz help

Chicks are due to hatch in incubator in the next day or so. My hubby bought it & put the eggs in, but we don't have a heat light or brooder? What can I do with the chicks after they hatch? Very new to all this!

Do you have a rather small plastic bin? cover the bottom with news papers and chicks poop alot so be ready to change it daily you can put them in your garage on a high place such as a table top make sure you have a red container holding food and a container they can sipp out of on a elevted place they can reach but cant drown themselves in and then give them a sorce of warmth a lamp a lightbulb

Yes I have a box & I do have a heat lamp now, I've had chicks before, just not hatchlings I know they poop a lot haha.
Now just have to get a thermometer & feeder/waterer.
What temp should it be for them first up?

Why does feeder have to be red?

So they are actracted easier to the food

I used a white ice tray as my brooder feeder a few times, worked great, just make sure they associate it with food and eat.
Chickens are naturally attracted to red.

Does anyone know how to make a safe home made waterer ?
