I have had chickens for about 5 yrs but I just got incubator for Christmas and my eggs ha e started to hatch the first came out great the 2nd struggled a bit and has a sack hanging off it rear is this normal and will it be ok??? Also the chicks have flipped my other eggs over that have pipped should I turn them back to where the hole is at the top or will they be ok??? I would like to "let nature take its course" but it's hard when I think something is wrong.

How is everything going today? Unfortunately, I cannot help with your questions as my first batch will be hatching this weekend. I am so nervous that something will go wrong! Can't wait to hear your update!

Lol yes this is driving me crazy and I am not a patient person....I think I have read every thread and article on the internet....yesterday was day 20 and I had four total hatch so far...the one with glob still hanging on it is doing fine the glob was totally absorb through the night but it still has a sting attached to the egg but it is moving around fine with shell in tow so I'm gonna wait and see if it falls off on its own i may remove it when i switch them to the brooder....i have 10 more eggs to hatch and they are showing no signs...I know it's just now day 21 but I'm very impatient and nervous lol I'm trying very hard not to open the incubator and let nature take its course:rolleyes: I still feel like I have a million questions haha
