I am currently on day 20 with 17 eggs in my incubator, I currently have two eggs that have pipped, one has made a small hole through both the egg and the membrane, I have no seen anymore movement or heard any peepng from that one yet-
however the second one has pipped through and its beak is showing and its chirping. the membrane is becoming dry its not cracking anymore shell or taking off anymore of the membrane

its been about 9 hours of it being in this stage, my humidity is between 70-75 I am wondering at this point should I intervene or should I just wait I know it hasn't been that long and it says it can take 12-24 hours from pipping its just so active and vocal I am scared its stuck.

this is my first ever time incubating eggs I've spent many restless nights I don't want them to suffer or die! I have read everything about how to help I am just wondering if I should!

thanks

As long as it can breathe its fine. Have u noticed it msking chewing motions with its beak? Thst means its still absorbing the yolk and not ready to unzip itself yet.
Hatching is stressful. I know

Wow that's a great outcome for your first time incubating! What kind of incubator do you have? I have 2 hens currently sitting but my numbers aren't looking too good right now. I definitely want to try my hand at incubating in the near future.
