New to having a flock

X2....per my Avian Vet and the Avian Specialist I use....spinach does bind calcium. When I give spinach to any of my birds I only give a little twice a week max. Sometimes I just avoid it altogether since kale and other greens are just as good and don't bind calcium.
good to know thanks!

You're welcome. It is just best given sparingly. Btw, it also binds calcium in humans. My daughter was eating spinach salads for lunch every day...her doctor told her to only do every other day. Weird huh? That something so good can actually be eaten in excess.
