New to having chicken

Hello All
This is my first time having chickens. We have 8 chicks. 6 are Bovan Brown and 2 are Orpington. I am excited to start this chicken journey and have them in our lives. We already have 1 potbelly pig and a small dog. The dog and pig get along great and I hope the same with the chickens. I look forward to learning a lot in this group.
