New to incubating eggs help please

Hey I'm new to the group I've had my flock for almost a year and a half now just purchased a incubator. My problem I'm having is I cant tell if my eggs are fertilized or not I'm trying to hatch some ameraucana bantams my hen and roo are kept in a separate coop from my other chickens I've seen him mount her many times successfully but when I candle my eggs I see no development. Any ideas on what's going on? Sorry for the long post..

How long are you letting them incubate before candling?

How old are the eggs? What day are your eggs on? How many did you set? What incubator are you using and what's the temp and humidity set at?
They should be fertile if he is breeding her.

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Length of incubation may be a factor. Early development is difficult to observe in colored eggs.

They are ten days in right now my humidity is set at 55%
