New to incubating eggs

So are first eggs are finally hatching. Can someone tell me if this one is ok?

Looks like it pipped at the wrong end, in my experience upside-downers can usually hatch all right on their own as long as they don't rupture a big vein when they pip.

It is still full of yolk, so if it has a clear air way leave it be... if there is blood there is yolk to digest. which is good because yolk in shell means chick is not hungry.

I've had 3 eggs hatch out of 26. We are on day 23. The one that pipped at the wrong end didn't make it. I will wait until tomorrow and see what happens.

Well 3 of my eggs hatched and we have 3 cute little chicks, 1 cream legbar, 1 light brahama, and 1 cuckoo maran. I eggtopsied the others. Some weren't fertile, some were early quitters and some were late quitters. I am going to try again.

Good luck with your next hatch!
