new to incubation need some guidance

sounds like a wise plan. so what neds to be do to the chicks when they hatch? ive read to leave them in the bator till there dry and fluffy, but how, what and when do i feed n water them? how long do i need to keep them in a brewder before introducing them tothe flock?

Again, only because I had read it here over and over We are to leave the chick in the incubator until its dry and fluffy, they do not need to eat nor drink for 24-48 hours after they hatch. I have 26 in my incubator, I know they wont all hatch at once, my thought (again after reading here) is to once a day remove the chicks that are dry if I need to...Opening the incubator alot during lockdown will threaten the other unhatched chicks .

I learned everything so far just by browsing around this site, here is a link to Raising Chicks that I found very helpful

As for introducing them to the flock, I doubt I would try til they quit chirping. Having not had a hen to raise them and protect them I know mine are going to be seperated for several months
