(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We are proud owners of 3 Wyondotte Gold and 1 Silver laced chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We started off with 4 for the adventure and thrill of having our own eggs.
(3) What breeds do you have? 3 Wyondotte gold and 1 Wyondotte Silver laced chickens. Heard they are best tempered and able to deal with Michigan weather.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I have a 10 yo daughter that adores them and just wants to be their best friend.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
The family moved into a 2.26acre farm home where I have plenty of space for a large garden and animals. So with 5 cats and 3 dogs, there is plenty to do. No particular hobbies besides Army and Call of Duty. Lol.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Nothing much to share that hasn't been stated. I'm currently laid off due to Covid and find things to do around the house and check off the honey do list. Lol.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was browsing how to raise chickens and came across this website and have seen and learned a lot.
