(1)Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are brand new to having chicken, our chirping package arrived from the Hatchery Today!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 10 2-day old chicks
(3) What breeds do you have?
The cute fluffy kind? LOL, there are 4 yellow, 2 black, 2 black and grey and one yellow with a brown stripe, my husband already named her Elvira
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
We've only had house pets until now so we're looking forward to this new adventure.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
My husband is the gardener and I'm the chef. He grows it and I cook it
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have an elementary aged son and 2 young cats, tabby boy and girl twins.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I'm hoping to learn from all of you how to keep our girls happy and healthy!
