New to laying eggs

Free range 20 weeks egg laying mash and feed from the feed mill for eggs.they are wyndote chickens

Hi just figured out why i have been only finding 1 too three eggs a day in there nesting boxes. They have been lating in the barn in the hay. Just wondering how to get them to lay in the nesting boxes?

Lock em in the coop or run for a few days. Put golf balls in the nesting boxes. Cover the "incorrect" areas they're trying to lay in with flat boards or pipes or something to disrupt the "nest".
