new to meaties question

My DH and I have talked about raising meaties for a few years now, but we were worried about ordering 25 from a hatchery. When I saw TSC had Cornish Rocks, I picked up 3 so we could try it out on a small scale first.

But I have a few questions...

When should I seperate them from the other chicks? Right now I have 20 2 wk old chicks in my spare bathtub: 3 meaties, 10 standard, and 7 banties.

Do they need any special type of feed, or can I stick with the chick starter? And do they stay on that the whole time?

They can be with the other chicks for the first few weeks and
chick starter is fine until you can get them on broiler crumbles.
