TowChicken
Hatching
Hello everyone! I have always been around chickens with my family gathering eggs and hatching them and everything else but never really paid that much attention to it all. Now that I am on my own starting my own family, me and my wife decided we needed to get some chickens to truly get our little farm going good. We already had three dogs (lab, shih-Tzu and a Husky), a cat and two horses so we definitely are used to animals. We recently purchased 6 day old blue laced red Wyandotte to get this rolling. We are going to see how this goes and if it is all I hope it is, more breeds will be added to the farm soon enough. I built a coop and run from scrap before I came back to work and they should be ready to move outside from my understanding when I come home May 10th. Me and my wife live in North East Arkansas and I work on the river so I am gone half the time and she lone wolfs it so any major projects wait until I am home when I have 28 days solid to mess with it.
