hi,
i have 6 Heratige-x chickies (also known as mixed heratige, its like a lucky dip with lots of differant heritage breeds- looks like we were LUCKY) they are about 8 weeks old and just starting to look like chickens and not sleepy fluffballs (their soooooo cute when their at that stage) THEY EAT SOOOOOO MUCH i was sooooooo suprised when i realised how much they eat in 8 weeks. i mean HOW BIG ARE THEIR LITTLE BELLYS! i am surprised their not crazily obese yeh anyways we live in perth (no more detales) and i was wondering what time it would be sensibal to move the mout compleatly to the big hutch (BTW its the middle of winter) any suggestions? anything would be greatly appresiated (just read my name!!)
thx,
plz help me

thank-you, they are outside rom morning till night and in their brood overnight i'm just scared to make that jump- we only have six and i'm really attached to them- will we still put them outside in winter?
thank's again,
please help me

Well sooner or later you'll need to cut the cord and let them go be chickens outdoors... Chickens do quite well in colder temperatures as long as they can stay dry, so as long as the coop provides weather protection they're good to go.
