Hello,

A few days ago I bought a pair of peafowl from a livestock rescue. Both seem uneasy around me, but otherwise were healthy. Today I noticed the peahen sneezing. It was only a few sneezes, and we have had a few cold and rainy days recently, so maybe I'm overreacting, but at what point should I worry and take her to the vet? The peacock seems fine, and the hen is still walking around and eating/drinking fine, so maybe I'm just overthinking this. We just got them settled a few days ago, so perhaps it's just stress from the move?

Welcome to BYC, congrats on the new peafowl! If it's just a few sneezes I wouldn't worry to much, just keep a close eye on her. Now might also be a good time to get a baseline weight on them. A healthy mature hen will weigh 3-4 kg, and a male will weigh 4-6 kg.
