I was wondering if you guys could help me out before I buy chicks so I know what to do.
•is it possible to get eggs from pheasants to eat
•are they really cannibals?
•is it bad to keep more than one cock in a pen(they will have several hens)
And any other thigs I should know

google Gbwf and allandoo pheasantry you will find many interesting facts about pheassnts and their care

Im assuming youre talking ringnecks. First rule of ringnecks is space. You can keep multiple cocks so long as you have sufficient numbers of hens and lots of space. Ringnecks are in fact very cannibalistic if they are overcrowded or not given sufficient feed. they also will kill any wounded or bleeding birds. It is possible to but blinders on them to keep them from pecking each other up too bad. Id suggest at minimum 10 sq ft. per bird. Ringneck eggs are delicious, about the size of a medium banty egg, and very rich. They lay very well, and will continue to do so if you gather eggs daily. Pheasants also are very strong flyers, sufficent bird netting will be required to contain them. again, go to gbwf and there is a wealth of information there.

Pheasant eggs or any egg are good for eating.
They make Hannibul Lector look like a rookie.
! male is good for 10 hens.
Ringnecks will need a huge pen for the 8 birds you are talking at least a 20x40 for the adults.Brooders also have to be good size or you can break the chicks into smaller numbers. When they reach 8 weeks old they may need to be in an adult size pen with the same conditions as the adult birds. They need to be fed a gamebird crumble as chicks.I use unmedicated.
Make sure they have plenty of branches for cover.Their pen has to be covered on top at all times.Perches are also a necessity. They need to be wormed twice a year.I do mine in Jan before the breeding season and July after the breeding season.I use ivemec to worm 3 cc per gallon.
If theres any more areas you need to know feel free to ask!
