Maybe someone nearby would like to add him to their flock. You could try posting him on Craigslist or fb for $5.

I agree with janiedoe that you could possibly sell him to a local livestock group. Also, if you have any Amish or Mennonite communities close by, they may buy him or have a small animal sale/swap. We did that, but still have a couple that will have to go to freezer camp.

This is a wonderful site on which to Learn and enjoy. We are pleased to have you in the community.

I have rehomed over two dozen cockerels and only one of them ended up going to freezer camp because I permitted it. If you take the time you can find somebody who will give him a good home if he is a good bird. As @janiedoe suggested, advertise them on your local Craigslist or local Facebook poultry groups for $5 to a good home. When somebody offers to take him just decline the $5. It's the right thing to do.
