I'm from Birmingham and about to get my first chicks this weekend. Do you happen to have a check list on what I need?

@Dgrundy14 I can do my best. Here we go I hope you enjoy your new chicks and good luck to your flock!
1. Coop
2. Chicken Food
3. Water In Bucket or Some source that chickens can access
4. Poop Scooper (anything to get poop out)
5. Run is the place where chickens roam outside in a secluded fenced area.
6. Bedding
7. Nesting Area for laying eggs
8. LOVE make sure you handle and love them

Optional:
1. Treats
2. Luxury items toys etc.

Thanks! I have one other question...my tractor coop has a sliding tray. What should I put in the tray, news papers, shredded stuff or what?

Dgrundy if I were you I would fill it with chicken bedding, if you don't have that shredded newspaper should be fine.
