I'm Nick from Centerville Minnesota, I'm currently transforming my small wood shed into a coop where I plan to raise 8 broilers at a time. New to raising them and any advice would be helpful, from feeders/waterers to shelter and do's and don't I'm happily taking advice and tips. Thanks !

Welcome to BYC, Nick! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Definitely check out our learning center. LOTS of helpful info there!

Good luck with your coop transformation. Definitely don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Here's a thread on broilers where you can ask any questions you might have as well.

Hi Nick and welcome to BYC - thanks for joining us. I converted my garden shed into a coop. I just added some roosts, 6" of dried grass clippings and leaves on the floor and job was done. You may not even need roosts I guess as you are raising meat birds, but the members on the meat bird thread will be better placed to advise you.

Best wishes
