Hi I’m getting some silkie bantams and wanted some advice on how high the fence needs to be to keep them contained as I have dogs

I assume you mean your run. A lot of bantams fly better than large fowl. It would probably need to be covered to keep them in, if you don't clip wings, and even then, possibly.
