New to raising chickens

Yeah, my usual advice is to raise roosters hands-off because they're less likely to become aggressive that way. But you're pretty far along so it probably won't work.

I think you may be right, that Brahma is almost aggressively affectionate and possessive; the girls have wait for him to vacate my lap to get their cuddles. Nevertheless I’m prepared to just deal with whatever.

Just make sure if he becomes actually aggressive towards you that it's not effecting your ability to interact with your hens. It's hard to spot when something's wrong with your birds if you can't get close!

I have 4 roosters varying in age from 15, 13, 11 & 8 weeks & of those I have 3 cuddlers as of right now, but that's liable to change too! I hope they stay, but I will probably only have 2.... but as always, Who Knows!!
