Hello all- I’m relatively new to raising chickens. Started with my first 4 chickens on 11/2/2023. Thought I was prepared with countless hours of study and speaking to several folks that raised backyard chickens. Once having the care of those little lives, the realization of the seriousness of the job hit home. I joined this web site with the hopes of learning what I don’t known for the care of these birds.

Welcome. Don't worry, we all get it here. We try as hard as we can to give our best for our babies. We support each other not only for help, but also when our hearts hurt for loss when there is nothing else we could do.
