new to raising chickens

Got mu first batch of chicks 4 weeks ago. Second batch a week ago
. Injured one chick on of my new little ones that are about 1week old now by dropping the cover grate on it
It has been 3 days now and it Is trying to stand but falls over. Moves to the food and water and I am tring to keep it warm
it talks to me all the time but o dont pick her up not sure if hips broke or what
anyone with adviceadvic

Sorry about the injured chick, you'll want to post in the Emergencies forum about it https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures Have you looked at the chick closely to see if you can tell if it has a broken leg or anything, is it using both legs and just not able to balance etc? if you can take a video or at least pictures of the chick, that may help people figure out what is hurt.
