New to raising laying hens

Thanks so much for all of the welcomes! I think we will probably go with some rhode island reds or maybe some hybrids. There are so many to chose from!!! Im sure my yard is not 100% predator proof, but I have tried to make it so the best I can and will be keeping a close eye on any happenings around the coop.

from North MS!!! My personal fav for egg layers are Wellsummers, there eggs are big and brown, and also the breed is very laid back! Good luck with whatever you decide on and glad you joined us!!!
