Cutie pa Tutie is 10 weeks old, I think it is a cockeral . . . maybe? I amnot so good with the pics and he wasn't helping much, please tell me if a different angle would have been better.

I am 99.9% sure that's a cockeral! It's hard to see his comb--do you have bigger pics or closer up? Toe spacing looks good. This is always the awkward stage for silkies, so as far as quality, it's hard to tell! They go through that, "teenage" stage--awkward and their voices even change! lol Just kidding!!!! But he is looking pretty good! Again, if you have any upclose pics, post 'em!

The young Prince and I have differing opinions about what "hold still for a close-up" means . . . also he went and got his feather hat all dirty

thanks you guys! I feel so much better, i really don't think he isa as pretty as my younger ones, but that could be just that he is a boy and they are girls . . .?

Oh a roo is great! I am trying to build a quality breeding flock for next year (we have NONE in this area). So far I have; 1, 10 week white cockeral, 1 white, 1 blue & 1 black 7 week old questions (but no signs of roo stuff and different bodies than the 10 week I am guessing girls) and 1, 1 week old Buff . . . and 12 eggs in the bator!!!
