Hi, my names mike live in beverley england. just found site via google. Have a new incubator and have 8 eggs but weather is very cold and i collect the eggs at 1C before placing in the incubator...is this too cold? Have tried candling and see darkness within the egg but no veins does this mean they are bad?

from East TN!

If the eggs are that cold, I would let them sit and get to room temp before incubating.

And if they are frozen solid when you collect them then they may not be viable at all.

Also, what are you candling with? A strong LED mag light works best for me.
