I had all kinds of animals as a kid. Was in 4-H but only did the non-animal thing in 4-H. So I didn't learn a lot to help me now. Found your site when I needed help. 11 months new to raising chickens. Sadly, I don't know what kind I have. I have some white ones, some black and white, some red. We have about 10 hens, 2 ducks, 1 guinea, 16 chicks that my brother hatched in his incubator. 2 Emu chicks (call me crazy) 3 dogs ( two of which, would murder my chickens if they could get to them), 2 cats. Grew up like this and wanted my kids to experience it too. Oh, 2 children and a husband. P.S. Could someone tell me, is there a spell check on this?

Glad you found us.
When I am typing in the 'reply' box, if a word is misspelled, it is underlined. So, if I catch it before I hit send, I can correct it. Maybe it is a Firefox thing, and not a BYC thing.
