That's a good idea.... For the feed and watered. Yeah, I had planned on the beams across the top to be able to support the run better and to be able to staple of screw the hardware cloth to. Also, wanted to be able to attach shade for the birds. Are your birds out already? Did you have a hard time after brooding them getting them used to the outdoors? I just read a post where someone was having a hard time getting his birds used to the heat in North Texas. He had raised his chicks inside in the ac. Mine are inside in my room, but in a kennel with a heat lamp. The thermometer reads 85 T their level. I started at 95 and over the last couple weeks have brought the temp down a bit. I'm in central Texas and its in the 90's already. 97 next week. Don't want my chicks to die from heat stroke!
