NEW TO THE BOARD NOT TO THE CHICKENS

Hello all and thanks in advance for the welcomes to the community i am not new to chickens however i am a new member to the board. I hope i can help spread a little knowledge as i have researched up and down before buying chickens... i do not intend to keep a back yard flock i actually hope that some day i can own a true free range Poultry farm no more cages !.. its a wild dream but i hope it becomes reality no more steroids and hormones stuffed into our chicken breast. instead food on our plates the way it was intended till then i will gladly share with you my experience owning these fun feathered friends...

I think most of us never intended to keep a large flock, but this wonderful thing called "chicken math" got quite a few us… I love your idea of a free range farm. I did something similar a few years ago, on a smallish scale (just over 100 birds - that's where my chicken math got me lol). it was wonderful!
