Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to say hello, as a new member to this group, I LOVE all the information and connections. We are by no means NEW to poultry, we also raise rabbits on our little hobby farm, piece of heaven here in the Missouri Ozarks.

We have many breeds including Standard Cochin (blue spash, blue, black & partridge), we have Ameraucanna (Easter Egg Chickens), Black Australop (Excellent egg layers), Rare Heritage Breeds that include: Light Brahma, Salmon Favorelle, Molted Houdan, Buttercup, Cuckoo Maran (only chicks right now), then we move on to one of my favorite breeds, the SILKIE (We have Partridge, Buff, White, Black and Blue Splash). We also have two rare heritage breed ducks (Ancona and Cayuga), and have a small flock of Red Golden Pheasant. Most recently the beautiful Rare Heritage Sebastopol Geese. (WOW that is a mouthfull LOL!) We also raise Orange Netherland Dwarf Rabbits, Flemish Giant (15-20lb rabbits), and two Rare Heritage Breed Rabbits, Silver Fox Rabbits (Black & Blue), as well as the Giant Chinchillia. Believe it or not a large farm, but a tiny hobby farm on about 2 acres, most of our flocks are small numbering around a dozen birds of each breed. We sell most of our eggs to local hatcheries, so we have to maintain the NPIP / State Inspection on all of our poultry. We do sell eggs occasionally, but sell most to local hatcheries. We LOVE ANIMALS, (as if you could not tell LOL), they are our stress relief and our little way to help preserve some of the wonderful rare and odd breeds.

Just wanted to say hello, and glad I have finally joined the group, we are like most, still learning, but love to chat with others with the same love of birds and bunnies.

fom Southeast MO. I'll be looking for Salmon Faverolles eggs in a few months. Do you think you might have some ( about 6 )?

We also breed Flemish Giants. Aren't they just the sweetest rabbits ever? Amazing how what starts off as a pair of rabbits quickly become over 23. Are running any blue lines with your Flemish?
