Hello,

My name is Manda and I am new to all things concerning raising chickens. My husband and I are planning on building a coop over the upcoming winter/spring and getting some chicks in the early spring. We still have a lot to learn but have already found BYC to be a great help! I look forward to learning as much as possible before we get our girls in the spring.
 
Welcome Manda! you have joined a wonderful place that is willing to share a wealth of information! any questions you may have we all are willing to help you out! Chickens are so much fun, that it is not easy not just to have a couple of them. The next thing you know you will have several...they all have neat personalities and depending what breed you decide to purchase. I'm sure they will give you much happiness and joy! Hi Manda, nice to meet you. The thought of going through another winter is too depressing to contemplate. Maybe you live in more moderate climate.
