Hello everyone. I recently purchased 4 chicks off a lady, and she never told me what breed/hybrid that they are. I have looked at pictures of different types and I'm almost certain that they could be one of two types. How do I determine which one they actually are? Either Golden Comets, or Isa's. They are not all the same color either. That's what is really hurting me from figuring it out.

Thanks. And yes let me round them up real quick and put them in the tub I used when they was smaller, so I can get a nice picture.

I did not see that forum. I'll have to check that out. Thank you. Now mind you when I picked them out, alot of them was red like the one I have. However I like differences. So I chose ones that was "white"

Looks to me like you have two males and two females. I don’t see a ISA in there. Two look to be mixed the white one with a few black feathers-female. And the darkest one-male. Some one will come along a identify better than I can. They are very cute. I hope you enjoy them. Chickens are so much fun! Best wishes

They all came from the same breed. They was also sexed by wing? The lady said that you open up a wing and look for the small feathers. If there was sets of two it's female. So she determined that all was female.

Wing sexing only works on a very select number of breeds/hybrids that are selectively bred to show that trait. It doesn’t work for most birds

Did the parents look like comets or isa browns? In case the parents are probably sex links, which are a mix of two breeds. That would make the offspring hybrids too but without the sexlinked coloring.
