Hi guys just wondering if anyone could help me to identify these chicks? I bought them 2 weeks ago and all I was told was they were bantams so the breed is unknown. There is one that has been noticeably bigger from the beginning but it had more feathers to begin with so I'm presuming she's just a few days older. Not sure of gender but I'm calling them both 'she' as I'm trying to think positive! I'm new to this site so when I figure out how to post photos from my phone you'll notice there are 3 in the photo of when they were really little. Unfortunately the littlest one didn't make it. So the 2 that I have, have similar patterns on their feathers but are different colours so I'm presuming they're different breeds. The smaller one has yellowish feet that seem to be losing their yellow colour and the bigger one grey feet. I bought them as pets for my 5 year old son just to teach him a bit of responsibility. He absolutely adores them! Anyway thanks in advance and hope you guys can help me. I'll post a couple of photos in the comments if it'll let me. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

This is the big one who I'm sure is a few days older at least. She has a fair few more feathers than the other one

The smaller one with yellowish legs. She has nice copper coloured feathers. If she turns out to be a rooster I'll be disappointed lol

awww. They're so cute. I have 2 chicks that I was unable to decide if they were male or female as well. I went to the farm store and bought 5 more. They told me that they were females, but I read that as they get older males get bigger tail feathers. I was really hoping that I had all females. Now I'm not so sure.

They are pretty cute thanks! Yeh the males are noticeably different but it's just a waiting game until they're old enough to tell. That's the frustrating part

Can nobody tell what breeds these are yet? Also here's another photo of the younger one and I'm worried

now the tail feathers are developing a bit more they're starting to look rooster like. Am I just being paranoid? Is it still too early to tell?
