New to the chicken world!

Chickens are just so rewarding and worthwhile that I feel it is appropriate for doctors to write prescriptions for them. "Please excuse Leslie from work today, she needs to spend time with her chickens."

What a grand world it would be...*sigh*

I currently have two hens. (hershy and Nestle) and I am in love! I cant believe how much personality they have!

Nestle is a Rhode Island Red and I am not too sure on Hershy. My husbands friend at work have them to us. I have had them for about a month now and they have settled in rather nicely. They already chatter when they see me. Especially if I have black oil sunflower seeds.
