Welcome to BYC! It was soo smart to join BEFORE getting your chickens! Definitely try to build your coop yourself if you can...you will not only save tons, but it will last, and be done much better for your individual flock! Placement of your coop and run around your yard is good to consider as well, due to wind, and snow, etc. if you have options. Anyways, once you get the chicks, we would love to see them! We love pictures and can’t wait to hear more about the 4H fun! That was always my dream! Too old now, lol
You will meet great people on here who are always willing to help and will teach you great things for your new flock! Plus you’ll be able to teach us some things too! We look forward to learning more about you all! Welcome to BYC from all of us!
