New to the forum

HI There,

I don't currently have any chickens but am doing my research. I am allowed to have them where I am so it's up to my kids if they want the chores.

Would be maybe 10 birds max.
I like eggs.
Chickens eat ticks and mosquitos.

I am in Southern Ontario and we have cold winters. I am interested in learning about outdoor enclosures and how to get the birds through winter without having to donate organs to pay my hydro bill (lol).

I'll be reading the threads and will chime in when inclined.
