New to the forum!

Hello all, recently retired and now living in middle Tennessee, looking to get a coop and start having some egg layers! We haven’t purchase any chickens yet, just preparing a spot for the coop and looking to add some birds in the next month or so. I’m looking forward to this new adventure.

What breed are you thinking of getting? Leghorns and Goldlines ( Light Sussex x Rhode Island Red) are great for first-keepers (keep in mind leghorns can be a little flighty) both are great for eggs.
