Sort of...I registered here back in February or March and made a couple of posts, but, unfortunately, not only do I not remember my password or username, I don't even have the email address I used to sign up, nor do I REMEMBER the email address I used to sign up! So, my apologies on that! It won't happen again.
We still have our four chickens and one duck. Our chickens are: Peyton the Buff Orpington (in my avatar), who took 6 out of 11 at fair showmanship with me in our FIRST time, also in the senior group, and 4 out of 28 in showing, Snowflake the Silver Laced Wyandotte who took 2nd with reserve, Bubba the ISA brown (I didn't show him, my brother did), and Raptor the Silver Laced Wyandotte (same with Bubba). Denny is a Pekin duck. He's the leader and we love him so much!!!
In February or March of next year (2011), I am purchasing myself some chicks, a couple of ducks, and I am *thinking* of some turkeys. I love raising and caring for poultry and ducks, and while turkeys are a bit more, I won't mind it. My life revolves around animals after school hours. But, I really don't mind it. I've met some of my best friends that way! 4-H and rabbit shows. Which reminds me...
...My Mom and I have a rabbitry, which means we breed, raise, sell, and show rabbits. But, we do it to improve the English Spot and Holland Lop breed, not to make a quick buck. We won't sell unless we know they are getting a great home. Check out our site sometime...Oh, wait, are you allowed to post links? I'll have to check up on that before I post it!
I also have two horses. One Arabian and one Quarter horse. Two dogs....Just look at my signature! I'll do a introduction with pictures later!
