New to the great big world of Chickens!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to owning chickens, I have successfully raised ducks in the past and I winged that! I didn't realize how much information is available!! They are about 3-4 weeks old now, have had them for a week.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
9 chicks currently, unless the husband brings home more unexpectedly when picking up more feed

(3) What breeds do you have?
4 Jersey Giants, 1 Easter Egger, 2 Production Reds and was told 2 Barred Rock but that is in question if that is what they really are.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Read books when I can (more along the lines of Audible when I am driving by myself) barrel race and raise Frenchies

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
7 horses, 2 goats, 9 chickens and 3 dogs

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was googling information and came across your site, I have read posts for 3 days strait now! So much information available, I love it!

We currently have a small brooder set up but need to get that expanded quickly as my number of chicks keep multiplying every time feed is picked up! haha

The coop and run design are a work in progress as I want it to be big enough to accommodate all of them and extras if they keep multiplying! That is my goal for this weekend, get the coop lined out and placement done.
