My first piece of advice about that little coop (having had one of those before) if you want it to last more than a year:
Good luck with you new chicken!!
- Paint/weatherproof every corner of it- otherwise it will warp, crack, mold, fall apart etc.
- Add more ventilation
- Raise it off the ground. Build a 2x6 frame the same size as the run footprint, set the coop on top and attach with flat braces. That will not only make the run stronger, it will hold in more bedding and protect the actual coop from ground exposure.
