New to the group

We live in Northeast Pennsylvania but came from near Pittsburgh. My husband is a retired conservation officer and I am also retired. I was raised on a chicken farm and we have had chickens all of our married life. Currently we have 12 hens and a rooster. The girls are black austrolorps, New Jersey Black Giants, a Buff Orpington, Barred Rocks, an Americana, a Red Leghorn and the male is an Ayam Cemani - quite a mix. We bought a calf in June for our granddaughters, one with special needs, as a pet and a therapy cow. So on our 2.5 acres we have a large garden, fruit trees, a cow and chickens. I'm happy to join your group to learn something new and to offer some comments on what I have learned after having chickens forever.
