Hi everyone!
I am new to chicken keeping and would love advice. I plan to keep two bantams (now chicks) as house pets. I know it's a little odd.
My profile picture features Ciri, a pullet my bf saved after the poor thing got stuck between a fence and a bin and nearly died. Unfortunately, Ciri turned out to be a Roo, which meant he needed to move out of my house (where we can't have roosters) into my bf's family coop as their only Roo. He's quite happy with his wives and will come running for cuddles and mealworms whenever he sees us.
(I'm still so heartbroken he can't stay with us)
This week I got an order of baby chicks, including Triss, a Mille fleur bantam, and Yennifer (Yen), a Cochin bantam. I love them already.
