Hello from the beautiful ski country of Western New York.
My Husband and I are very new to having chickens. The closest we've ever come is KFC..lol
We got six pullets and six straight runs from Tractor Supply the first week of May (it was Hubby's birthday. I spoil him whenever I can) We have eleven left because Anubis is a german shepard and doesn't know her own strength. I'm not sure what breeds they are.
I know two are white leghorns(F), three are golden comet(F),two are partridge rocks(M&F),one N.H. red(?),and three white with gold/brown splotches(M). Actually, one looks like he's wearing a leopard print vest.
I'm so glad I found you guys on a google search. I must have looked at over a hundred sites before I started lurking around on this one. I like to get a feel for a site before I become a member.(learned the hard way)
I can't wait to set up my very own web page, post pictures and talk to people that really care about their little feathered charges the way we do.
